Douglas College is searching for dedicated contract faculty to join the Social Work Department. With a Master’s degree in Social Work and a minimum of five years of experience in Child and Family Services, you will enhance our longstanding reputation for quality education.
Your role involves planning and managing learner-centered activities and collaborating with colleagues to execute department initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct students and evaluate their progress in Social Work courses
• Organize and manage learning activities and instructional resources
• Collaborate with Social Work Department faculty and staff
• Execute department initiatives and participate in faculty activities
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Social Work required, doctoral preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant field experience
• Strong knowledge of social work practices
• Ability to apply inclusive teaching methodologies
• Teaching experience in post-secondary or community settings preferred
