Join Douglas College as a Faculty Coordinator for the Applied Criminology BA Degree, effective September 1, 2026. This position focuses on recruitment, advising, and program management.
Working within the Faculty of Criminology and Legal Studies, you will oversee a 3/8 time release role. Your responsibilities include advising students on academic progress, coordinating exit interviews, and conducting data analysis on student outcomes. Collaborating with department chairs and community organizations will also be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the recruitment of Criminology students
• Advise on course and graduation requirements
• Conduct orientation and engagement activities
• Review and revise program content for accuracy
• Collect data on student degree progress
Requirements:
• In-depth knowledge of Criminology program details
• Previous experience in academic coordination or advising
• Strong collaborative skills with faculty and community
• Ability to analyze and interpret student data
• Commitment to enhancing diversity and inclusivity in education
