Position: Grade 10 Special Education Support Role
Join our team as a Special Education Assistant to provide essential support to Grade 10 students. Your focus will be on catering to various learning differences and developmental needs.

In this role, you will work directly with 3-5 students, addressing their individual educational and personal challenges. It’s important to work under the general supervision of teachers while using sound judgment in various situations. You’ll also need to implement tailored Individual Education Plans and respond to both educational and medical needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Address students’ educational and developmental needs

• Implement tailored Individual Education Plans and care strategies

• Monitor and adapt to changing student needs

• Build positive relationships with students and staff

• Utilize effective communication and intervention strategies

Requirements:

• Understanding of special education methods and practices

• Experience with behavioral management techniques a plus

• Ability to navigate diverse emotional and educational challenges

• Strong ability to work cooperatively within a team

• Previous experience in special education is beneficial
