Experienced Strong Facilitator

Position: Experienced Strong Start Facilitator Needed
Join SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 43 (COQUITLAM) as a Strong Start Facilitator. This casual, on-call role focuses on supporting parents and enhancing literacy and numeracy for children ages 0-5.

In this position, you will provide educational support to parents while fostering early childhood development at our Strong Start Centre. Your expertise will help families navigate essential milestones, making a significant impact in their children's early learning. Applicants should have strong facilitation skills with a penchant for engaging diverse families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer parent support and education on early childhood development

• Facilitate a participative program for parents and children

• Focus on key literacy and numeracy aspects

• Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment

• Collaborate with the community to support program goals

Requirements:

• ECE certificate and First Aid, Food Safe

• Minimum five years of relevant experience

• Availability Monday through Friday

• Complete two criminal record checks

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
