Position: Casual Strong Start Facilitators at SD43
SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 43 (COQUITLAM) seeks casual Strong Start Facilitators. This on-call position supports parents and children aged 0-5 in developing literacy and numeracy skills.

As a facilitator, you will play a crucial role in our Strong Start Centre by providing educational resources and support to parents. Your focus will be on enhancing early childhood development through interactive programs tailored for families. This role requires commitment and the ability to adapt to varied educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance on early childhood development stages

• Operate a program for parents and their children

• Promote literacy and numeracy through engaging activities

• Foster a welcoming atmosphere for all families

• Partner with community resources to enhance learning

Requirements:

• ECE certificate, Food Safe, and First Aid

• Five years of recent relevant experience

• Daily availability, Monday to Friday

• Must complete two criminal record checks

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
