Join the Rett Syndrome Society of BC as a volunteer Rett Education Ambassador in Coquitlam. Empower educators to support students with Rett Syndrome with tailored knowledge and best practices.
This program is designed to equip volunteers with essential advocacy skills and interpersonal techniques to assist teachers and families. As an Ambassador, you will facilitate collaboration between schools and support networks, ensuring a positive learning environment for affected students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in training sessions starting July 25
• Act as a liaison between schools and families
• Inform educators about Rett Syndrome-specific approaches
• Foster teamwork and effective communication
• Assist in problem-solving for academic challenges
Requirements:
• Passion for advocacy and customer relations
• Excellent teamwork and writing skills
• Proficiency in English for effective communication
• Availability for all training sessions in Coquitlam and Vancouver
• Strong interpersonal abilities for engagement
