Part Time Grade 1 & 2 Teacher

Join Traditional Learning Academy in Coquitlam as a part-time Grade 1 and 2 teacher. This role, starting September 1, 2026, offers a chance to shape young minds in a structured Catholic environment.

The part-time Generalist Teacher will work three days a week, committed to the BC Curriculum while delivering exceptional instruction in a Catholic context. The candidate will engage in course planning and uphold school standards, while also participating in extracurricular activities. Supervision of students during non-classroom times will be required to foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the established program in Grades One and Two

• Plan units and courses aligned with the BC Curriculum

• Uphold school standards and guidelines consistently

• Participate in extracurricular activities and events

• Supervise students during recess and breaks

Requirements:

• Valid BC Teaching certification or eligibility

• Strong commitment to Catholic education

• Experience with early childhood education concepts

• Ability to engage and inspire young learners

• Willingness to support school community initiatives
