Coquitlam High School Math​/Science Instructor

Oxford Learning seeks a high school Math and Science Instructor in Coquitlam, British Columbia. Guide students through their educational journey and foster a love for learning.

As a part-time instructor, you'll be responsible for teaching high school students at various learning levels in an engaging manner. This in-person role focuses on delivering lessons using Oxford Learning methodologies while ensuring personalized support for each student. Commitment to the role until June is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct up to three students in Math and Science

• Implement Oxford Learning's teaching strategies

• Document lessons and student progress effectively

• Cultivate a positive and professional learning environment

• Offer both in-person and online class options as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education

• Teaching certification is advantageous

• Comprehensive knowledge of grades 9-12 Math and Science

• Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
