Join Douglas College as a Faculty Coordinator for the Therapeutic Recreation program, where your leadership shapes student development and academic success at Coquitlam Campus.
This coordinator position starts on September 1, 2026, with a possibility for extension. In collaboration with faculty, you will oversee administrative functions and address student concerns to foster an engaging learning environment.
Your role will have a lasting impact on the perception of the program and the paths of its students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise the student selection and registration process
• Organize new student orientations at semester start
• Manage practicum placement confirmations
• Facilitate faculty communications and meetings
• Provide academic advice to students
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in a human service field or relevant area
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on program operations
• Willingness to embrace transparency in processes
• No commitment conflicts as per college policy
