Elementary & High School Religion Teacher

Become a full-time Elementary Generalist and High School Religion Teacher at Traditional Learning Academy in Coquitlam. This role focuses on delivering quality Catholic education and engaging with students in both classroom and extracurricular activities.

Starting September 1, 2026, Traditional Learning Academy is looking for a dedicated educator to teach Grade Five and High School Religion classes. The position requires adherence to the BC Curriculum and participation in school-based activities. Your commitment to developing students' academic and spiritual growth will play a central role in this fulfilling position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the BC Curriculum effectively across diverse learning environments

• Teach Catholic religion courses to students at grade levels

• Supervise students during non-classroom hours and activities

• Engage in and support extracurricular school programs

• Foster a positive learning atmosphere and character development

Requirements:

• Valid BC Teaching certification or eligibility for one

• Passion for Catholic education and character development

• Experience in elementary and secondary teaching

• Strong commitment to student engagement and growth

• Willingness to contribute to school community
