Biology Lab Student Assistant

You'll assist in the preparation, maintenance, and clean-up of lab materials and animal care. This position is ideal for students who have completed their first or second year in Biology, enhancing both your academic journey and laboratory skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with lab set-up and clean-up tasks

• Provide care for biology lab animals daily

• Manage greenhouse tasks including watering and pest control

• Prepare chemical solutions for weekly lab sessions

• Teach peers about animal care and biology practices

Requirements:

• Completion of first or second year Biology preferred

• Enrollment in at least one course at Douglas College

• Valid Study Permit for international students

• Commitment to up to 10 hours/week

• Original SIN and Study Permit required
