Part Time | Pay: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour

We are looking for part‑time teacher‑tutors to work at our learning centre. The role involves teaching French and English to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Lessons are fully pre‑planned; you will be trained on our proprietary methods before you begin.

The role is in‑person; applicants must be able to commute to the Coquitlam location. Online teaching is not an option, and relocation packages are not available.

• Commitment to after‑school and evening hours (3:30 pm – 7:00 pm) and some Saturdays (10:00 am – 3:00 pm); a term‑long commitment through June is preferred, continuing into summer is an advantage.
• Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.
• Must be reliable and maintain a friendly, professional manner at all times.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 4th‑year university students with tutoring experience will be considered.
• Teaching certification is an asset.
• Good knowledge of the current kindergarten to grade 12 curriculum.

• Experience teaching/tutoring at K‑12 level (or equivalent).
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work with up to three students at a time.

• Teach up to three students simultaneously at different levels.
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Complete post‑lesson notes and daily student communication updates.
• Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.

• Evenings:
  Monday to Friday 3:30 pm – 7:00 pm.
