Primary Generalist Teacher

Traditional Learning Academy in Coquitlam seeks a passionate Primary Generalist Teacher for part-time work. Teach key subjects and instill Catholic values in students from grades K to 7.

The role offers a part-time (0.4 FTE) opportunity starting September 1, 2026, at Traditional Learning Academy. You will educate students across multiple subjects, including Language Arts and Science, while adhering to the BC Curriculum. The position also involves planning curriculum and engaging with students beyond the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction in various subjects including PE and Technology

• Design unit plans per school guidelines

• Teach the Catholic religion alongside other subjects

• Supervise and support students outside the classroom

• Contribute to extracurricular activities

Requirements:

• BC Teaching certification or qualification for it

• Proven commitment to the Catholic educational tradition

• Experience in teaching primary grades K-7

• Strong organizational skills and teamwork ability

• Effective communication skills with students
