Position: Biology Laboratory Facilitator at Douglas College

As a passionate instructor, you will oversee lab sessions, ensure proper procedures, and prepare engaging assignments for biology students. This temporary part-time position is set for 17.5 hours per week from August 31, 2026, to December 18, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide students through laboratory procedures

• Prepare and supervise engaging lab assignments

• Ensure smooth operation of lab instruction

• Maintain organization and cleanliness of lab space

• Communicate effectively with students and faculty

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or related field

• Excellent knowledge of laboratory equipment and safety

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Experience in teaching or lab instruction preferred
