Contract Instructor in Sport Science

The Sport Science Department is seeking a knowledgeable Contract Instructor for the 2026/2027 academic year. You’ll teach essential courses like SPSC 2205:
Introduction to the Study of Health and Society and SPSC 3256:
Research Methods in Sport Science. A Master’s degree is required, and a PhD is preferred, alongside college or university teaching experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct and facilitate college courses in sport science

• Evaluate and support student progress and learning

• Manage and organize effective learning activities

• Provide academic advising to learners

• Maintain quality and learner-centered instruction

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field required

• Teaching experience at the college or university level

• Expertise in movement education

• Commitment to student empowerment and inclusion

• Ability to teach in various course areas is an asset
