In this part-time, temporary role starting September 2026, you will mentor students in a laboratory setting, demonstrating essential chemistry techniques and ensuring effective learning. Located across New Westminster and Coquitlam campuses, you will be pivotal in creating an engaging atmosphere that promotes scientific understanding and safety throughout the lab sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory sessions and manage student interactions

• Demonstrate proper chemistry techniques and equipment use

• Prepare assignments that enhance understanding

• Uphold lab safety standards and procedures

• Communicate with diverse groups within the educational setting

Requirements:

• Knowledge of laboratory maintenance and WHMIS

• Strong written and spoken English communication skills

• Ability to prioritize and handle independent work
