Support students with learning disabilities and autism through patient, adaptive tutoring focused on academic growth. Use strong communication and individualized strategies.
This tutor supports elementary or secondary students with diverse learning needs. You will assess strengths, challenges, and learning needs while adapting instruction to individual profiles. The work includes homework, assignments, projects, test preparation, study skills, and confidence building.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess academic strengths, challenges, and learning needs
- Develop individualized tutoring strategies and lesson plans
- Support homework, assignments, projects, and test preparation
- Teach organization, time management, and study strategies
- Communicate student progress to parents or caregivers
- Experience supporting learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, or differences
- Confidence supporting elementary or secondary students
- Patient, encouraging, energetic approach with students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent English communication skills
