Certification Engineer

Position: Moment Energy Certification Engineer
Join Moment Energy as a Certification Engineer, where you will advocate for sustainable energy through compliance and certification. This role is critical in assuring that our energy storage solutions meet all regulatory standards.

As a key player, you will act as the certification expert, directing internal teams on energy storage standards such as NFPA and UL. The position requires overseeing certification processes, timelines, budgets, and liaising with local authorities and testing laboratories. Engaging with regulatory bodies will be essential to ensure our products are ready for deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead efforts on energy storage certification standards

• Collaborate with engineers to optimize product compliance

• Define and track certification milestones and budgets

• Manage external relationships with certification labs

• Understand market deployment requirements and adjust strategies accordingly

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• Experience in certifying hardware or electrical products

• Familiarity with NRTLs and regulatory standards

• Proven ability to manage compliance projects successfully

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
