Position: Production Miner & Grader Operator Role
Join Alamos Gold as a Production Miner and Grader Operator at the Young-Davidson mine. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining safe and effective roadways within the underground environment.

Reporting to the Supervisor of Mine Operations, you will play an essential role in optimal equipment operation and roadway safety. The ideal candidate will have three years of underground mining experience and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Your work will greatly impact daily mining operations and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scale and inspect travel ways, ensuring safety

• Maintain detailed operations and equipment records

• Effectively operate grader across all roadways

• Assist in keeping travel ways clear and maintained

• Contribute to a collaborative team environment

Requirements:

• Completion of basic common core and specialty modules

• Preferred 3+ years of experience in underground mining

• Proficient in grader operation and heavy equipment

• Strong focus on safety and analytical problem-solving

• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
