Become a Quality Assurance Engineer with Intertek, specializing in compliance with building codes for diverse structures across North America. Engage in inspections and provide vital support to engineering teams.
In this Quality Assurance Engineer role, you will evaluate building structural systems and ensure adherence to applicable standards and codes. Candidates need a degree in Structural or Electrical Engineering and 5-10 years of related experience in building design and construction management. This position also involves technical support for project estimations and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive inspections and drawing reviews
• Ensure compliance with building regulations on various projects
• Assemble audit manuals and technical reports
• Provide support during sales estimations and client meetings
• Travel for audits and inspections across North America
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Electrical Engineering
• 5-10 years experience in building construction or design
• Understanding of Canadian and US building standards
• Eligible or registered as P.Eng. or ASTTBC
• Willingness to travel extensively
