Join Intertek as an Engineer/Technologist in Coquitlam, BC, and impact Modular Housing projects. Your engineering skills will support project estimates and Quality Control audits.
This role requires an innovative Engineer/Technologist who thrives in a collaborative environment will coordinate inspections, evaluate engineering products, and ensure adherence to building codes. Your contributions will aid in shaping safe and compliant modular structures while working across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support sales with project scope assessments
• Review drawings of modular housing designs
• Conduct building code evaluations for products
• Visit facilities for Quality Control audits
• Create audit manuals aligned with client programs
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering field
• 10 years of experience in building construction
• Proficient in North American building codes
• Registered P.Eng. in British Columbia
• Technologist designation from AScT preferable
