As a Materials Technician, you will provide essential support under the Engineering Manager's guidance.

Your role involves laboratory and field testing of concrete, soil, and aggregate materials across the Greater Vancouver Area. Successful candidates will possess a strong interpersonal skill set, technical background, and a keen interest in career growth while adhering to quality management systems and ethical practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory and field materials testing for various clients

• Perform materials sampling and geotechnical projects as needed

• Achieve proficiency in CSA and ASTM testing standards

• Provide materials testing services on-site and in the lab

• Assist the Laboratory Supervisor in certification processes

Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent

• 2 to 5 years of experience with materials testing

• Eligible for CCIL certifications for concrete and aggregate

• Familiarity with QA/QC standards for civil engineering

• ASTTBC Membership preferred
