Join Fraser Health as a Registered Nurse focusing on Mental Health and Substance Use services. This role is pivotal in delivering client-centered care and educational support within a diverse community.
In collaboration with various healthcare professionals, you will assess and treat complex psychiatric conditions while maintaining the dignity and autonomy of clients. Your expertise will empower individuals on their recovery pathway through compassionate care and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess clients and provide tailored treatment and care planning
• Develop and deliver educational programs on mental health
• Administer and monitor psychotropic medications for compliance
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care
• Document all assessments and interventions according to standards
Requirements:
• Active RN or Psychiatric Nurse registration with the BCCNM
• Related experience of two years or equivalent training
• Valid B.C. Driver's License and personal vehicle access
• Excellent communication and teaching abilities
• Capacity to advocate for diverse patient populations
