Be a pivotal Mental Health & Addictions Nurse dedicated to community outreach. Deliver quality assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for clients in diverse settings, creating impactful care solutions.
This role involves serving as a registered nurse in a multidisciplinary Assertive Community Treatment team, focusing on psychiatric nursing with adults. You will develop, implement, and maintain clinical services tailored to individual rehabilitation plans. The position features strong community engagement alongside collaboration with various healthcare resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assessment and treatment in community settings
• Develop and implement client-centered rehabilitation programs
• Monitor side effects of psychotropic medications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
• Manage aggressive behavior using intervention techniques
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Minimum one year psychiatric nursing experience
• CPR certification required
• Valid Class 5 BC driver's license
• Experience in community mental health support
