Position: Tri-Cities Public Health Nurse Position
Become a key player in public health as a Part-Time Public Health Nurse in the Tri-Cities, BC. Focus on health promotion and disease prevention through community engagement and direct client care.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with various health professionals to provide essential nursing services. Your work will involve vaccinations, health assessments, and educational initiatives aimed at improving community health outcomes. You will be instrumental in promoting healthy behaviors and supporting families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer vaccines to promote public health

• Investigate and manage communicable disease outbreaks

• Facilitate prenatal and family assessments

• Provide health education in schools and community settings

• Keep accurate records of health services provided

Requirements:

• Registration as a Registered Nurse in BC

• Six months recent experience in public health nursing

• Class V BC Driver's License required

• Strong knowledge of community health practices

• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
