Enhance the quality of life for residents as a Mental Health Residence Worker with Connective. This 16-hour/week role provides essential casework and clinical support during night shifts.
Connective, a recognized non-profit, offers a supportive role focusing on clients' mental health needs. You will develop care plans, build therapeutic relationships, and assist residents in crisis situations. This position is integral in ensuring a safe and orderly environment for residents while working towards their rehabilitative goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct client interviews and prepare care plans
• Build therapeutic relationships with psychiatric residents
• Assist in implementing Applied Behavioural Analysis support
• Offer emotional support and advocacy for residents
• Ensure compliance with residency rules and facilitate community integration
Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in related field with one year experience
• Knowledge of Psycho Social Rehabilitation and crisis interventions
• First Aid Certification and Criminal Records Check
• Class 5 driver’s license with insured personal transportation
• Excellent communication skills in English
Support mental health and deliver compassionate care to residents at Connective.
