Position: Eating Disorders Therapist Role in BC
Transform lives as an Eating Disorders Therapist with Fraser Health, located in British Columbia. Engage in case management and counseling focused on eating disorders, directly impacting individuals and families.

You'll report to the Program Coordinator, providing client assessments and therapy. This position emphasizes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and facilitate access to community resources. You'll lead group therapy sessions and deliver educational in-services, enhancing community support for eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess client needs and develop therapy options

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions

• Maintain detailed client records for compliance

• Participate in case conferences for service evaluation

• Provide training and presentations to staff and caregivers

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or Social Work

• Two years of experience with eating disordered clients

• Valid B.C. Driver's License for work

• Knowledge of relevant mental health legislation

• Strong referral and communication skills
