Position: Local Head of Hospital Medicine Role
Shape the future of patient care as the Local Department Head of Hospital Medicine at Eagle Ridge Hospital under Fraser Health.

Your role is pivotal in enhancing communication and operational strategies.

As a key leader, you will support the Regional Department Head in facilitating practitioner appointments and ensure the alignment of healthcare programs within the facility. Your responsibilities include promoting health among staff and leading quality assurance initiatives through effective documentation and reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in the Site Operations Committee for strategic planning

• Act as the communication link for departmental activities

• Recommend new practitioners and renew privileges as needed

• Oversee the coordination of health programs

• Foster a respectful, healthy workplace environment

Requirements:

• Active Privileges, CCFP, CMPA, CPSBC Full membership

• Proven leadership in healthcare environments

• Experience in conducting morbidity and mortality reviews

• Commitment to workplace diversity and inclusivity

• Ability to handle administrative duties in a timely manner
