As a crucial member of the care team reporting to the Director of Care, you will develop and manage nutrition care plans specific to residents' needs. Implement and monitor meal services in accordance with Canada’s Food Guide while participating in various interdisciplinary meetings. Strong communication and collaborative skills are essential for successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create personalized nutrition care plans upon admission
• Monitor and adjust care plans based on needs
• Ensure adherence to ministry regulations
• Conduct audits to assess food service quality
• Educate staff about nutrition and food safety
Requirements:
• Membership with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia
• Food and Nutrition Bachelor’s Degree
• Recent clinical geriatric nutrition experience preferred
• Must clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
Contribute to the health and well-being of seniors through nutrition management at West Coast Seniors Housing Management.
