In this meaningful role at Kinsight, you will support individuals by promoting their independence and social connections. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care, emotional support, and advocating for their rights. Focusing on individual preferences, you will help create new daily routines that enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support individuals in their homes to promote independence
• Assist with personal care and medical support as needed
• Advocate for rights and inclusion in all life areas
• Foster community connections and opportunities for expression
• Implement and follow individualized care plans diligently
Requirements:
• Diploma in Human Services or equivalent education
• One year of experience with developmental disabilities
• Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support methods
• Class 5 Driver’s License; personal vehicle required
• Current First Aid/CPR and related certifications
