Temporary Speech Language Pathologist Position

Coquitlam School District is hiring a temporary part-time Speech Language Pathologist to enhance student communication and learning. Work in a diverse and successful school district committed to student achievement.

As a member of the Coquitlam School District team, you will provide essential consultative and direct support to students experiencing speech and language difficulties.

Your role involves collaborating with professionals to create effective individual education plans and support high and low incidence exceptionalities. Assessment services will be a core part of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language support for students

• Collaborate with school-based teams and Student Services

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for educational needs

• Assist in designing individualized education plans

• Support the District in intervention strategies

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology

• Must be registered with College of Health and Care Professionals of BC

• References needed, including current supervisor's

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

• Passion for supporting diverse student populations
