Bay Care is looking for a passionate Medical Assistant or LPN committed to community health. This PRN position necessitates travel to various locations and includes reimbursement for mileage. Responsibilities include preparing patient lab specimens, maintaining EMR systems, and ensuring compliance with standards. Your organizational skills will be essential in supporting the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform patient histories and lab preparation tasks
• Manage the electronic medical records system (EMR)
• Follow up on and report test results to providers
• Order clinical supplies and maintain equipment
• Abide by relevant healthcare regulations
Requirements:
• BLS certification required within 30 days
• Active Medical Assistant Certification or related experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Preferred two years of experience in a similar role
• Strong critical thinking and customer service skills
