Overview  We’re searching for an  Insurance Advisor . Westland Insurance Group Ltd is growing and has a new opportunity for an  Insurance Advisor  in  Coquitlam , BC at our  Maillardville  office. If you love talking about insurance and providing exceptional client service, you will enjoy working for Westland. We are looking for a career-minded individual focused on growing their insurance industry knowledge and experience.
Expected Compensation:  The expected hourly hiring range for this role is $21.80 to $27.25 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role and internal equity.

Responsibilities   As an  Insurance Advisor , promote and educate clients on insurance products, take ownership of client relationships, and help grow our presence and profile in the local community.
Deliver superior customer service that promotes client retention and identifies client needs.
Uncover clients’ business challenges and act as a client advocate by providing recommendations.
Assist clients with their insurance needs by utilizing basic knowledge of underwriting principles.
Qualifications & What We’re Looking For   Laser-focused with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Ability to build authentic client relationships and prioritize workload with confidentiality and discretion.
Insurance broker level 1 license or working towards CAIB/CIP (financial support provided).
Bonus: 6 months+ of industry experience.
