School District No. 43 (Coquitlam) invites applications for the position of Buyer
1. This regular full‑time role is 35 hours a week, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
- Perform a variety of duties relating to the procurement of equipment, supplies, services and construction.
- Grade 12 education, including courses in Business Education.
- One‑year post‑secondary management courses that enable acceptance into the Supply Chain Management Designation Program (SCMP).
- Completion of Year 1 of the Supply Chain Management Designation program.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- At least two years’ experience in a similar role within a large‑scale purchasing operation.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
- $34.63 per hour (35 hours a week).
- Extended health, dental, MSP and a pension plan (MPP).
