School District No. 43 (Coquitlam) invites applications for the position of PAINTERS (Seasonal).

Temporary Full time April 2026 to October 2026.

40 Hours a week (Day shift)

Coquitlam School District invites applications from individuals for the position of Seasonal Painter
. As the third largest school district in the province, we are located within a 40-minute drive from downtown Vancouver. The school district has a population of 34,000 students with approximately 4,500 teaching, administrative, managerial and support staff.

This position reports to the Manager of Maintenance and Painter Supervisor and completes a variety of painting tasks with minimum supervision.

• Inside and outside painting projects under minimum supervision.
• Operates and maintains painting equipment such as airless and conventional spray equipment, power washer, computer, brushes, rollers, etc.

• Painting Trades Qualification Ticket (TQ)
• Recent related experience
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision.
• A valid Class 5 BC Driver's License.

The successful candidate works 40 hours per week (7:00am to 3:30pm) - $41.25 per hour plus 16% in lieu of benefits.
