Facilities Services Worker – ProjectsLooking for hands‑on work that keeps our facilities running at their best? As a Facilities Services Worker – Projects, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving our buildings through specialized cleaning and facilities projects. This is a physically active, project‑focused role ideal for someone who takes pride in quality work and enjoys working independently during quieter hours.
Job status:
Full‑time, permanent
Shift: Saturday – Wednesday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, with the occasional need to work 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm
Work location:
Onsite (1550 United Boulevard and other locations across the Lower Mainland)
Salary range: $22–$26 per hour
In this role, you will:- Perform specialized cleaning tasks such as window, carpet, wall, ceiling, pressure washing, and high‑area cleaning using industrial equipment.
- Operate powered equipment including floor scrubbers, boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, and power pallet jacks safely.
- Coordinate with Facilities, QA, and other departments to resolve Office Space and GMP‑related requests, including audit preparation support.
- Maintain facilities equipment and inventory, liaising with external vendors to ensure operational readiness.
- A Grade 12 diploma and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in janitorial, custodial, or related facilities work.
- Required certifications including WHMIS, aerial platform, forklift, and powered pallet jack (PPJ).
- Experience independently operating industrial floor machines and cleaning equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of safety procedures, SOPs, and cGMP requirements.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle as required.
