Junior Building Manager

As a Junior Building Manager you are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all common areas of the residential building and for providing customer service to residents when needed. Successful candidates have keen attention to detail, a strong work ethic, good customer service skills, and the ability to navigate computer programs.

Saturday and Sunday – 2pm to 10pm

• Tidy and sort garbage rooms, check for garbage and check lights for burned out bulbs in common areas of building
• Vacuum and clean halls and amenity rooms, maintain cleanliness of lobby, clean elevators and windows
• Maintain a log of any resident complaints or violations, view security monitors periodically, and act as on‑site point of contact for emergency situations
• Schedule move‑ins and move‑outs in accordance with established procedures
• Ensure storage rooms, mechanical rooms, parkades, bicycle rooms, hallways, stairways, and all other common areas are kept free of inappropriate items
• Inspect all common areas daily, take required action, and maintain accurate records
• Maintain cordial, professional, and businesslike relations with owners and tenants by being consistently polite, helpful, and respectful in all dealings with owners and residents

• Previous experience with strata buildings is an asset
• At least one year of industrial/commercial/hotel cleaning experience is required
• Strong written and oral command of the English language is necessary in order to be able to work efficiently and communicate appropriately with clients and support staff
• Good customer service skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision

• Ability to clean and monitor the property including stairs, hallways, parkade, interior, and exterior of building; lots of walking
• Ability to physically pull and manage garbage bins
• Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (wind, heat, cold, rain, etc.)

$22 - $23 per hour
