About You / What We Are Looking For
The City of Coquitlam is currently recruiting for one full-time Pool & Building Service Worker who will be responsible for manual work involving janitorial, custodial and minor building maintenance work performed on an assigned shift in an aquatic facility.
Main responsibilities
· Perform variety of janitorial and routine maintenance duties relating to swimming pools and aquatic buildings and equipment
· Carry out pool filtration and vacuuming duties as required
Duties are performed in accordance with established practices and procedures, but a Pool and Building Service Worker exercises considerable independence of action and initiative in the performance of routine duties on a day-to-day basis, referring complex or unusual problems to a superior who reviews work performance in terms of technical adequacy, conformance to established practices and procedures, and adherence to time schedules.

This CUPE position has an hourly rate range of $28.63 - $33.65. The rate of pay is based on a variety of factors including qualifications, knowledge, experience and skills.
