Drive sanitation excellence at Sofina in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, as a Sanitation Supervisor for the night shift. Ensure proper cleaning and safety standards are consistently achieved.
Reporting to the Afternoon Plant Superintendent, you will be responsible for the sanitation operations of the facility. Collaborate with various teams to maintain compliance with food safety regulations and improve efficiencies. Your leadership will include directing staff, managing resources, and addressing day-to-day operational challenges in sanitation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure sanitation plans meet business objectives effectively
• Lead and develop sanitation staff with effective coaching
• Perform safety and food safety audits regularly
• Update and implement Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures
• Partner with third-party vendors for chemical usage
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in food processing or relevant field
• 5+ years of food industry experience
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and Lean practices
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
• Knowledge of MS Office is required
