Eagle Ridge Hospital, located in beautiful Port Moody, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for its Monitored Care Unit. In this role, you’ll monitor high-acuity patients requiring specialized care, coordinating closely with an interprofessional care team. Your responsibilities include patient assessments, care planning, and the delivery of person-centered interventions to ensure positive health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop nursing diagnoses

• Collaborate with families on care plans and treatment

• Coordinate nursing care and delegate tasks to support staff

• Educate patients and families on health maintenance

• Document assessments and interventions in compliance

Requirements:

• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing

• Current Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM

• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)

• Experience in high acuity nursing preferred

• Strong communication skills in patient care
