Reporting to the Director of Care, the Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates direct care and supervises nursing staff. You'll conduct assessments, implement care plans, and support clinical processes. Your leadership will ensure optimal care and foster collaborative relationships with residents and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and assess individualized resident care plans
• Administer medications according to established guidelines
• Collaborate with care team members for effective support
• Facilitate wound care management and referrals
• Maintain electronic and paper documentation accurately
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse license with BCCNM
• Graduate from an approved nursing program
• Valid Occupational First Aid Level 1 and CPR certification
• Experience in long-term care settings is advantageous
• Ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiently
