Registered Nurse in Emergency Care

This position invites qualified Registered Nurses to gain valuable experience in Emergency care while pursuing specialty education sponsored by the employer. Candidates will engage in comprehensive patient assessment and care planning, contributing positively to health outcomes. Collaboration with an interprofessional team ensures that nurses are well-supported and equipped to succeed in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments for accurate nursing diagnosis

• Plan and evaluate nursing interventions and care implementation

• Develop collaborative care plans with patients and families

• Coordinate nursing tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively

• Teach patients and families about health maintenance and recovery

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with current BCCNM registration

• Completion of or willingness to pursue specialty nursing coursework

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Strong communication and patient advocacy skills

• Physical ability to perform nursing duties
