Create a positive impact on senior health as a part time Registered Nurse at Extendicare Lakefield, Ontario. Provide guidance to staff and develop personalized care strategies.
In this Registered Nurse position with Extendicare, you'll focus on delivering exceptional care for seniors in a collaborative environment. You will supervise nursing staff and work closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of care provided to residents. Your skills will be integral to creating a supportive atmosphere for staff and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and implement complex care plans for residents
• Mentor and evaluate nursing and personal care providers
• Communicate with other health services effectively
• Maintain standards of practice in nursing care
• Advise on clinical knowledge and delegation processes
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse license in Ontario
• Experience working with seniors
• Strong critical thinking and time management capabilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening
