Join Fraser Health as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse, focused on delivering care for substance use disorders.
Your role includes assessments, interventions, and client education to facilitate recovery.
In this role, you will provide and coordinate essential nursing services for clients experiencing substance use issues. Responsibilities include performing health assessments, managing emergencies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery. Your commitment to recovery-oriented practices will greatly enhance client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess client health history and develop care plans
• Administer treatments according to best practices
• Act swiftly during emergencies like overdoses
• Collaborate with other professionals for comprehensive care
• Educate clients and families about health strategies
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse with BCCNM
• One year experience in substance use environments
• Substance use training completion preferred
• CPR and First Aid certifications may be required
• Valid Driver's License with personal vehicle access may be essential
