The City of Coquitlam is seeking a dedicated Parks Partner Program Coordinator. This full-time role involves delivering community gardening initiatives while recruiting and supporting volunteers. You will also coordinate programs, manage park maintenance tasks, and ensure gardens flourish throughout Coquitlam. Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate community gardening and park engagement programs
• Recruit and train volunteers for gardening projects
• Develop program content and activities with partners
• Manage parks maintenance tasks using various tools
• Monitor and evaluate programs to meet community needs
Requirements:
• High school diploma and horticulture certification
• Minimum three years in parks maintenance and volunteer coordination
• Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends
• Valid BC Driver’s License
