Drive supplier quality and IATF 16949 systems at AMPCO Manufacturers Inc. in Coquitlam, British Columbia, working on-site Monday through Friday.
As Supplier Quality Engineer, you will develop, implement, and maintain quality systems supporting continual improvement and customer relationships. Your work will cover supplier qualification, PPAP, corrective actions, QMS KPIs, and audit support. The position is full-time and permanent within Quality Assurance, reporting to the Engineering & Quality Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage supplier approvals, evaluations, qualification, development, and compliance
- Evaluate supplier PPAP and provide technical support
- Monitor QMS KPIs and develop process dashboards
- Maintain quality documentation and calibration activities
- Support audits, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Three to five years quality experience in industrial manufacturing
- In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 Core Tools
- Knowledge of mechanical inspection and GD&T principles
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management
