Join Douglas College as a Student Research Assistant, where you will engage in critical research on Mental Health and Employment.

In this role, you will work closely with the Thrive program at Open Door Group Services Society and Dr. Colleen Reid. Success requires a passion for research and collaboration with students, faculty, and community partners. You will conduct literature reviews, transcribe interviews, and contribute to meaningful reports and analyses to further understanding in therapeutic recreation and mental health fields.
Key Responsibilities:
• Compile and analyze interdisciplinary literature
• Utilize Mendeley for bibliography management
• Conduct interviews and record field notes
• Analyze qualitative data through NVivo
• Collaborate on research manuscripts
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in THRT 3710 or similar course
• Relevant research experience preferred
• Full-time enrollment required for eligibility
