Job Overview

This is a full-time, permanent position offering $29.00 ~ $37.00/hour (depending on experience) and 4% vacation pay.

Working hours are 30-40 hours/week at 250-329 North Road, Coquitlam, BC V3K 3V8.

• Prepare and cook full meals or specialty dishes based on the menu
• Oversee daily food preparation and cooking activities in the kitchen
• Develop and update menus and recipes according to seasonal availability and customer preferences
• Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation meet the restaurant’s standards
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, food costs, usage, and sales
• Estimate food and supply needs and place orders to maintain inventory levels
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards to ensure a safe and organized kitchen environment
• Supervise and coordinate the work of cooks and other kitchen staff
• Train cooks and other kitchen employees in food preparation techniques, kitchen procedures, and safe food handling

• 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
• Completion of secondary school is required
