Drive HVAC equipment sales from O'Dell HVAC Group's Coquitlam team, using contractor relationships, construction drawings, and project pricing expertise. Support projects throughout Canada.
This Contractor Sales position oversees product and equipment sales to contractors assigned to projects. You will develop customer, contractor, and vendor relationships while supporting equipment design, selection, quoting, and project positioning. The role requires HVAC or construction experience, strong sales techniques, and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide equipment design and selection input for project quotes
- Evaluate competitive products and communicate O'Dell solution value
- Build relationships with mechanical and sheet metal contractors
- Assist equipment troubleshooting and coordinate with Service Team
- Present new products and complete ongoing project site visits
- Three to five years of HVAC or construction experience
- Read construction drawings and complete accurate take-offs and pricing
- Use Microsoft Office and preferably Net Suite CRM software
- Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Know HVAC selection software, BCBC, and associated ASHRAE Standards
