Industrial Technical Sales Representative

Apply mechanical aptitude and industrial sales expertise as an Applied® Technical Sales Representative serving customers across the lower mainland. Travel is required.

Applied Industrial Technologies seeks a qualified representative for new business development and territory management. The position serves industrial MRO and OEM customers with bearings, power transmission, fluid power, and related components. You will prospect, demonstrate product benefits, and develop strategic customer relationships.

• Develop new business and maintain the existing sales territory
• Prospect for customers, schedule appointments, and demonstrate product benefits
• Identify customer goals, growth strategies, and profit drivers
• Promote products and respond to customer product inquiries
• Meet or exceed sales targets across a robust territory

• Two to five or more years of technical or outside sales experience
• Experience selling industrial components to MROs and OEMs
• Mechanical aptitude and strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prospect, build relationships, and use technology
• Self-motivated, organized, analytical, and able to work independently
